Simona Bellini

Ceramist and Visual Arts (High School and Middle School)

Born in Sorengo, Switzerland, Simona Bellini is a ceramic sculptor and art educator based in Ticino. She earned her diploma in Decorative Arts from CSIA Lugano, an AFC in Ceramics from CEPV Vevey, and a degree in Psychomotor Therapy from the Anne Marie Wille Institute in Milan. She first worked with children and adults with autism and other special needs through creative workshops.

For over twenty years, Simona has followed an artistic path centered on sculpture and ceramics inspired by nature, exhibiting her work in Switzerland and abroad. A member of Swissceramics since 2011, she currently serves on its board committee. Since 2013, she has been part of the TASIS faculty, teaching Middle School Art.

Over the years, she has developed a strong methodology and a relationship of mutual trust with her students. Through her studio work and collaborations such as the Cal Poly Summer Architecture Program in Ticino and Le Fornaci Project in Riva San Vitale, she shares her passion for craftsmanship and creativity.
