Meg Pendleton
Visual Arts (High School)
Meg Pendleton is an international art educator with nearly two decades of experience in the field of education. Meg’s art classroom is a place of discovery, where students learn to take the reigns as self-directed learners and creators.
Meg’s worldview has been greatly shaped by her diverse experiences while living and working in Boston, Seoul, Moscow, and Istanbul. She is a practicing artist, a writer, art history enthusiast, and a traveler. Her personal artwork encompasses the production of combines, a concept pioneered by the artist Robert Rauschenberg. These collages marry all aspects of Meg’s artistic interests. She also enjoys painting the figure, most often in oils.
Meg has been a member of the TASIS community since 2007. As the founding director of the Minnows program, a subdivision of the Chateau des Enfants summer program, Meg’s association with TASIS runs deep. Returning to TASIS as a faculty member is both a privilege and a homecoming.
