Meg Pendleton

Visual Arts (High School)

Meg Pendleton is an international art educator with nearly two decades of experience in the field of education. Her art classroom serves as a place of discovery, fostering creative confidence and self-directed learners.

Meg’s worldview has been greatly shaped by her diverse experiences while living and working in Boston, Seoul, Moscow, and Istanbul. She is a practicing artist, a writer, an art history enthusiast, and a traveler. Her preferred artistic practices include oil painting and the production of combines, a collage concept pioneered by the artist Robert Rauschenberg.

While traveling, Meg also seeks cultural experiences via artist residencies. She has explored traditional ceramic practices in Tbilisi, Georgia, and textile weaving in Mallorca, Spain (pictured below).

Meg has been a member of the TASIS community since 2007. Serving as a counselor with the Chateau des Enfants summer program, Meg returned in 2024 as a faculty member in the Arts Department. Meg greatly values the TASIS community and is inspired by Mrs. Fleming’s vision in championing a lifelong appreciation for the Arts.
