Annika Fibbioli - Former Faculty

Photography

I have been fascinated by photographs as long as I can remember. We did not have a camera in my family when I was growing up, and so the only photos I have of me as a child were done in the kindergarten. It might have been the absence of photography that brought me to photography. A lot has changed since then. I still find myself rarely photographing my own family, but the fascination has never gone away. I enjoy analogue photography as much as I do digital. Most of my work is done outside of my home in my alone time where I tend to concentrate on portraits and living spaces, the human condition. From quiet observations to meeting people, I always try to evoke a feeling or to find a different visual approach.

My photographic work is published under my maiden name, Annika Palvari.
